The 27th edition of INSPIRAMAIS, the only exhibition of design, fashion and sustainability in materials for the footwear, clothing, furniture and jewelry industries in Brazil, in addition to promoting business for the sector’s production chain, will have an intense program of conferences. During the days 24 and 25 January 2023, at the event, which takes place at the Event Center of the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (FIERGS), in Porto Alegre, will be held 14 presentations on sustainability, fashion, national and international business, entrepreneurship and innovation.
As usual, the opening of the show will be in charge of Walter Rodrigues, coordinator of the Design and Research Nucleus of the Brazilian Association of Companies of Leather Components, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal). From 10:30 hours on the 24th, the stylist will talk about the inspirations for the upcoming collections. " As the materials industry works even before the final shoe producer, here at INSPIRAMAIS we will launch collections of product inputs that will be in stores in the second part of the year. At the conference, I will talk about trend research that resulted in more than a thousand products launched in the salon," he explained. According to Rodrigues, the presentation acts as an introduction, a guide for visitors, as it will point out materials that will be increasing in the coming seasons.
The second conference is scheduled for the afternoon of January 24, at 13:30, when Helen Formaggini Morais, technology analyst at the Minas Gerais National Industrial Learning Service (Senai/MG) and Viviane Assunção, project analyst at the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL), both linked to the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais (FIEMG), take the stage. On the occasion, experts will talk about the circular economy focused on the fashion sector, bringing cases and ideas that can help the industry in the creation of more sustainable products.
Another noteworthy talk is the 15:45 conference, in which the consultant/researcher and the market analyst of the Chemical and Textile Industry Technology Center of the Senai (Ceqtic/Senai), Thales Calmon de Aguiar Neto and Rafael Bastos Rocha, talk about innovation opportunities in the industry.
The first day of INSPIRAMAIS will also feature presentations of the solutions of Stahl and Soma Group, as well as cases of startups of Sebrae and the panorama of the market of safety materials and footwear, of the National Association of the Materials Industry for Safety and Protection at Work (Animaseg).
Second day
The 25th, highlights the panel of the footwear sector in Argentina, Mexico and Spain, countries that are, respectively, in positions 1, 6 and 12 in the ranking of international destinations for footwear components. From 10:30 am, Daniel Risafi -vice president of the Argentine Footwear Chamber (CIC)-, Imanol Martinéz Gómez -marketing and business development director of the Federation of Spanish Footwear Industries (FICE)- and Alfredo Villalpando, chairman of the board of directors of the Guanajuato State Chamber of Footwear Industries (CICEG), take the stage to offer an overview of their respective markets.
At 13:15 hours, Walter Rodrigues will return to the stage to offer a preview of the research that will present its products at INSPIRAMAIS in the second half of 2023. In the sequence, starting at 14:15 hours, Flávia Vanelli, curator of the Creative Connection Hub, will talk about the creative solutions in sustainability and innovation presented by the impact business ecosystem.
Another long-awaited moment in the salon. To talk about the 2024 leather preview, Marnei Carminatti - Leather Preview project coordinator and INSPIRAMAIS consultant - and Ramon Oliveira Soares - INSPIRAMAIS consultant.
The second day will also feature presentations by Malwee on the clothing market and Sebrae on entrepreneurship and solutions for micro and small businesses.
