Philanthropist Shawn Mendes

Shawn Mendes is a musician, who comes from Canada originally and a performer of his songs, a model and an actor. He was born on the 8^th of August 1998 and became popular due to writing and singing, such as hits There's Nothing Holdin 'Me Back, Stitches, Treat You Better. He has become the youngest singer among the best US musicians, according to the Top 100 Songs. If to speak about the prizes and awards accepted by the musician, those are MTV Europe Music Awards, SOCAN Award, People's Choice Award, Juno Award, Allan Slaight Honor, and others.

His mother is English according to her origin, worked as a realtor. His father, a native Portugal, sold products for leisure venues. The singer has a sister whose name is Aaliya.

Shawn graduated from Pine Ridge Secondary School in Pickering. During his studies, he was fond of longboarding, football, and hockey. The boy sang in the choir, attended acting classes.
