TALENT WOMAN: Promoting female talent

Talent Network carried out the first online edition of Talent Woman. The event was held on May 6 and 7, 2020 at the page: https://www.talent-woman.tv/ from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The event was organized in collaboration with the Secretary for Substantive Equality between Women and Men, by the Government of the State of Jalisco. As well as communities that promote female talent in science, technology, business and entrepreneurship and thanks to the leadership of its co-founder Alejandra Rod.

Two days of activities with more than 60 online speakers to inspire and develop the potential of women through talks, panels and conferences.

Talent Woman has been consolidated since 2017 and to date, takes 8 editions in Mexico and 2 international editions, in Spain and for the first time before the international health contingency, Talent Woman @ Home organized the remote edition to keep the spirit that characterizes this movement, but without leaving home.

During the welcoming message,  Fela Pelayo, head of the Secretariat of Substantive Equality between Women and Men, of the State of Jalisco, stressed the importance of having this type of spaces that contribute to highlight  the professional career of the women in different professional fields, which also allow reducing the inequality gap between women and men.

In this same welcoming space, Iván Millán, Director of Talent Network Mexico recognized the great support of the successful women who make up the activities program and of all those who form the home will follow the broadcast of the event.

The speakers were female leaders from the fields of science and technology, creativity, entrepreneurship, business and professional development, such as the case of businesswoman Ivonne Diaz de Sandi, activist Liliana Hendel, filmmaker Anastasia Mikova, in addition to other personalities; such as the award-winning golfer Lorena Ochoa, among many others; that  their career and experience got inspired the audience.
