Riding an electric bike or e-bike throughout Europe is a great way to see the countryside on your active holiday. Active holiday European specialist UTracks recently expanded their offerings so that the majority of their more than 100 biking holidays itineraries offer e-bike selections.
Designed to give the rider a small boost, e-bikes help the rider when going uphill, facing headwinds, or pedaling long distances while looking and feeling like a traditional bike.
“Because they offer physical support, e-bikes bring the joy of cycling holidays to a wider range of people,” said Nathalie Gauthier, North American Manager of UTracks. “Whether it’s couples or groups with different skill-levels, or those who are unsure about long-distance cycling, e-bikes encourage anyone to join an active holiday.”
