The Latin American Fashion Summit (LAFS), the women-founded platform that has become a catalyst for Latin creativity and entrepreneurship, returns to Miami this November with its 7th edition. From November 2 to 4, 2025, the summit will gather the most influential leaders in fashion, design, and business at the Miami Design District, with The Moore Building serving as its main stage.

Created in 2018 by Estefanía Lacayo and Samantha Tams, LAFS has grown into much more than an annual event: it is a year-round ecosystem that empowers Latin American talent through mentorship, education, editorial content, and global networking.
This year’s program will feature conversations on cross-border commerce, artificial intelligence, sustainability, and brand storytelling, with participation from retailers such as Net-A-Porter, Moda Operandi, Shopbop, Revolve, The Webster, Kirna Zabete, and Saks Global.

Pitch to LAFS: A Launchpad for Emerging Voices
One of the summit’s most transformative initiatives, Pitch to LAFS, continues to spotlight emerging designers and connect them with global decision-makers. The 2025 jury includes Karla Martínez, Editorial Director of VOGUE Mexico; Elizabeth von der Goltz, Board Member and Founder of RAISEfashion; Johanna Ortiz, Founder and Designer of Johanna Ortiz; and Carmen Busquets, Co-Founder of Net-A-Porter, among others.
Since its inception, Pitch to LAFS has propelled brands like Baobab, Studio Conchita, and Curatoria into international markets, proving that access, mentorship, and visibility can redefine the trajectory of Latin American fashion.

A Platform for Women and Cultural Storytelling
Disney will join the summit with a special panel and a museum-style exhibition, highlighting the power of storytelling and creative careers for the next generation. Meanwhile, Zacapa will present the Visionary of the Year Award to Patricia Bonaldi, Creative Director of PatBo, honoring her contribution to Latin American fashion and celebrating Zacapa’s 50th anniversary.

Beyond Fashion: Building Bridges
With curated pop-ups, matchmaking sessions, and exclusive networking experiences, LAFS reinforces Miami’s role as a bridge between Latin America, the United States, and Europe. More importantly, it demonstrates how culture and commerce can grow hand in hand, amplifying the voices of women and innovators shaping the future of fashion.
“This year, LAFS raises the bar for meaningful connections and measurable outcomes. We are bringing together the most ambitious founders, retailers, and allies to open new markets for Latin talent,” said co-founder Samantha Tams.
