Colombiamoda + Colombiatex

the only fair in the world that brings together the ecosystem of fashion

Colombiamoda + Colombiatex, is the only fair in the world that brings together the ecosystem of fashion in the same scenario.

From July 25 to 27 in Medellin Colombia, Colombiamoda will take place Colombiamoda.

Demonstrating fashion as an engine of social transformation, cultural mobilization, environmental commitment, and economic development is the bet of Colombiamoda + Colombiatex 2023 that this year TRANSCENDS, through EFFECTIVE CONNECTIONS, SPACES OF INSPIRATION and FASHION EXPRESSIONS.

The business axis TRANSCENDS to reinterpret the trade show as a space where EFFECTIVE CONNECTIONS are generated. For this edition, the categories will be represented by experiences that reflect consumer lifestyles, allowing buyers to connect with brands in a much more organic business dynamic.

In this way, about 12,000 specialized buyers will connect with more than 400 fashion exponents, from inputs and textiles to the finished product, under the experiences: Casual & Comfort, Wellness & Rest, Movement and City, and Industrial Zone.

The axis of trends Transcends to show through the catwalks, that fashion is an expression of culture and social transformation. Circularity, young talent, collaborations and the future of design will take the axis of FASHION EXPRESSIONS in this edition of Colombiamoda + Colombiatex.

Some of the catwalks of La Semana de la Moda in Colombia:

- "Amazonas", by the tolimense designer Diego Guarnizo with his tribute to the Colombian jungle and a call for the care of natural resources and forests.

-  Disney will present the "Reflections of Wonder" collection with local brands to celebrate its 100 years of history.

The Knowledge axis transcends as a source of INSPIRATION FOR ACTION, consolidating itself as the largest open academic space in the region, where more than 15,000 attendees and 28,000 spectators will gather in the Knowledge Pavilion and the Trends Forum.

The Knowledge Pavilion will feature more than 20 spaces, where entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, designers, and students can be updated in Ecosystem Fashion, Fashion Tech and Transcendental Business, through conferences such as:

The Forum of Trends is consolidated as the unmissable stop for buyers and visitors, where through conferences, textile samples and finished products, will be presented the four aesthetic design for the season Autumn-Winter 23/24: paradox, mystical, poetic, and wild.

CIRCULARITY becomes the cross-cutting axis of the fair to highlight the challenges of the fashion industry at an environmental level. Initiatives such as the Sustainability Route and the new Circular Fashion Market will highlight the sustainable practices of more than 50 brands in environmental matters, as well as the commitment to give a second life to textile waste and finished products.

In line with the commitment to an increasingly conscious industry, comes the NEW Circular Fashion Market, the scenario that will bring together brands and enterprises that bet on sustainability and give another opportunity to products reducing their impact on the environment.

The RETAIL space returns with Vogue Talents Corner and Fashion Market, scenarios where the final consumer will discover the proposals of more than 100 brands of clothing and accessories.

Positive results are expected to add value to the city, as in 2022, that Colombiamoda + Colombiatex generated an economic spill of approximately $12 million, and the spending of tourists was higher than seen in past editions, due to the record attendance that was recorded at the event and which, in addition, meant a hotel occupancy of 91.7% according to figures from Cotelco.
