Chicas Poderosas is a global community that ignites change by inspiring and developing women in media and creating opportunities for all voices to be heard. Our organization was launched in 2013 while Mariana was an Icfj Knight fellow in Costa Rica and then in 2015 the first training the trainers happened at Stanford when Chicas turned into a non for profit organization.
