From May 5–7, the Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition 2026 convened more than 1,000 stakeholders from brands and retailers to NGOs, policymakers, manufacturers, and innovators to address the fashion industry’s most urgent sustainability challenges. Organized by Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), the event took place at the Copenhagen Concert Hall, with additional programming across the city’s cultural institutions.
This year’s theme, “Building Resilient Futures,” acknowledged the industry’s current crossroads. As climate disruption, economic volatility, and technological acceleration reshape global systems, the Summit emphasized the need for measurable progress rather than aspirational rhetoric.
Opening the event, Federica Marchionni, CEO of Global Fashion Agenda, stated: “Every great leap in the history of fashion has emerged not from comfort, but from pressure.” Her remarks underscored the need for courage, collaboration, and strategic investment to build a truly resilient fashion ecosystem.
