WHO ARE YOU?
My name is Yasemin Sahin. I am the CEO and Co-Founder of TURBOARD, an innovative Business Intelligence and Analytics company that enables its users to communicate effectively, using data to tell stories, develop insights and strategy, and gain a competitive advantage.
WHAT did you do?
As the CEO of the Company, I have created unique opportunities leveraging the Company’s scale to build, expand, operate and globalize the business. I have dedicated myself to creating value for our clients; goals for our teams, to combine my knowledge and background in the IT sector with finance and business development to create TURBOARD, the next generation BI and Analytics platform.
HOW did you do it?
After studying 2 years of architecture at one of the most prominent universities in Turkey, I decided to pursue my dream of becoming an engineer and started studying Computer Science, and in my 3rd year at school we started TURBOARD with my partner, who is my husband and the father of my 2 children now. We have brought up TURBOARD from only 2 employees to a company with 100+ employees and 300.000+ users with bootstrapping. I have patented a system in TURBOARD to build a global sale, technical and finance team with a platform committed to providing high quality products with superior service.

Disrupting the sector with the state-of-the-art technologies, competitive price points and excellent customer service solutions, TURBOARD became one of the leading BI and Analytics startups in the world. This has always been our goal since college.
Today, more than 79% of the Big Pharma utilizes TURBOARD to assess development pipelines and competitive landscape, evaluate new and promising technologies, screen potential partnering and investment opportunities.
WHERE are you from?
Ankara, Turkey. I live there now, but our Headquarters are moving to NY, USA.
