Lisa Smith Craig  is all about statement items in fashion. This can be clearly seen in her statement cherry-colored hair and edgy personal style. LSC  is always wearing something eye catching but understated that matches her personality. Her styling reflects this and can be seen in magazines such as ELLE, Vogue and L'officiel  and on various celebrities.

LSC is very skilled in putting extremely loud eye-catching designer items together to form an awesome, wearable outfit. Her curiosity drives her, and she loves it. She takes inspiration for her statement pieces from various publications, fashion shows, exhibits and designer showcases.

Even though the fashion industry can be a bit mainstream in season collections, LSC always stays true to her personal concept of working with up-and-coming outstanding  designers. Keeping with an urban style, she loves black, leather and metal and is able to always make her creativity stand out in an elegant, strong and sexy way.

LSC grew up in Charleston, West Virginia. From a young age, she was inspired by her mother and grandmother, who were both very much into fashion. Lisa's mother was a fashion designer and organized fashion shows.

When LSC later moved to Los Angeles, she worked at Fred Haymans, where she was exposed to the biggest celebrities. She began working on the Oscars and other award shows, which lead to gigs for red carpets, magazines and music videos.

LSC has a true passion for sneakers like the Nike ski highs. She never wore high heels until she was given a pair of sneakers with heels and found a happy medium. Comfort and heels work perfectly for LSC's ten to twelve hour work days. These are now another part of Lisa's statement look along with her beautiful cherry hair color and all-black wardrobe .

When I asked LSC about her future plans, she responded "I would like to do more of everything, creative films, more commercials, live editorials and tv shows". Depth and challenge are part of her growth goals.

Her motivation is the art and joy of creating that are essential to her job. Inspired by life, dreams and experiences coupled with fashion trends, she is a truly passionate and talented artist.
