Basic tones, minimalist design and relaxation are the defining characteristics of Hatsumi's Laundry

A Hastumi's girl loves the weekend. She is the type of girl who is confident with herself and doesn't take life too seriously. Her perfect weekend would be warm, the type of day that smells like the beginning of summer. Her day is Sunday, the day of rest. A Hatsumi's girl lays in bed, admiring fresh flowers from the local market, while listening to the hum of the street outside her window.

Thought up by Melbourne designer, Jemma, Hatsumi's Laundry is inspired by beautiful things. These are translated into their staple pieces.

Hatsumi's began when Jemma was after something she could not purchase anywhere else. Jemma began to create minimalistic soft cup bralettes, simple in design and undeniably sexy. Along with these, she designed high-waisted and high-cut ribbed cotton underwear that elongates the female form.

Hatsumi's latest collection, Cairo, is crafted from ultra-fine Italian powernet.  It has a barely-there feel and fits like a second skin. The sheer fabric is perfect for hot summer nights, when all your windows are open and all you have is a small electronic fan to keep you cool.

Beautiful accessories complete the Hatsumi range. Tissue towels and delicate rose scented candles made in collaboration with Australian candle maker, Flower Alchemy, are sometimes available from Hatsumi's Laundry web-store.
